The video shows the drilling and automatic retraction of the PathFormer. The rotating cutter drills a microconduit in the skin until a preset electrical impedance is reached. The trigger impedance is set to allow the cutter to reach the capillaries before retracting. Release of blood from the microconduit is seen in the video. The procedure is rapid and painless.
