Mesoscissioning Procedure
The video shows the drilling and automatic retraction of
the PathFormer. The rotating cutter drills a microconduit
in the skin until a preset electrical impedance is reached.
The resistance is set to trigger the cutter retraction on
scissioning through the stratum corneum (SC) of the skin.
Release of interstitial fluid
from the microconduit is seen in the video.
The procedure is rapid and painless.
