Mesoscissioning technology creates a microconduit through the
skin or nail within a specified depth range. The scissioning
tool continually measures electrical resistance with reference
to a skin electrode. This ensures that the procedure is
quickly halted and the tool automatically withdrawn when
the lowering electrical resistance reaches a preset value. Since this
happens before the nerve bed is reached, there is no
sensation.
